We collaborate with the NYCDOE to ensure that all of the flexible options provided to meet the needs of all our families are at the highest educational standards to ensure that each and every child receives individual attention and resources to be supported.
Program Schedule and Flexibility
Our 3K/Pre-K for All is a September-to-June program, Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm. We know that Fresh Meadows families have tight schedules and offer extended care until 6:00 pm and Saturday care. You can work or attend to personal matters knowing that your child is in a safe, nurturing, and enriching environment.
Learning Objectives & Goals
Cognitive and Academic Preparation
Our program introduces early literacy, numeracy, and critical thinking skills, giving children a strong academic foundation. Your child will learn to love learning through age-appropriate activities and master essential skills that will support them throughout their education.
Social and Emotional Growth
Social skills are as important as academic skills and are essential to be practiced at this age. For this purpose, guided play, group activities, and structured social interaction with their peers are very much carried out to develop their feelings for others, cooperation, and self-confidence in the environment. Our aim is that your child is adequately prepared and equipped to become an acceptable member of a society where they can develop relationships that remain lifelong.
Physical Development
We at Acorn Adventure Kids believe that both physical and cognitive development are equally important. For example, daily outdoor games as well as fine motor games enhance children's muscular, coordination, and physical health.
Language and communication
Our language-intensive environment has the potential to increase children's vocabulary and enhance listening and communication skills through stories, songs, group discussions, and hands-on activities.
